OSHA 10 Hour Class

This course is designed to answer the specific questions of someone new to the safety field or who needs an update on the most common OSHA regulations. The latest information from OSHA will be included in the training manual. Individuals who complete this 10-hour, two-day course receive a completion card issued through the U.S. Department of Labor and OSHA.

In addition to an overview of nine of the most cited standards set,participants will receive background on the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970, record-keeping requirements, employer and employee rights and responsibilities, and the inspection and appeals process. Participants also will receive a copy of the OSHA general industry regulations, 29 CFR 1910, and participate in exercises designed to facilitate use of the CFR in a “real world” setting.
