Nucor Steel Field Trip!
Friday, March 7th, 2025
Location: Nucor Steel, 3630 4th St., Flowood, MS (601) 936-6213- office
Cost: FREE!!!
Join us for a tour of the Nucor Steel production facility in March. Arrive at 7:30AM to receive a brief orientation and sign some waivers. Close toed shoes required. PPE will be provided but you may bring your own if you prefer. Hard Hat, Safety Glasses, Gloves.
We plan to conduct a walk around tour until about 11AM then finish up with some lunch provided by Nucor.
RSVP is REQUIRED!!! – We will need to submit the number of attendees no later than Monday, March 3rd. Additional reminders and announcements will be sent out leading up to the event, but please tentatively mark your calendars. RSVP to secretary@ms.assp.org
We would love to regularly schedule these field trips on a semi-annual basis, but we need good turnout and participation. We are hoping to tour Continental Tire in Clinton, Nissan in Canton, and MEMA Operations Center in Pearl, so please join us so we can continue to schedule these rare opportunities.
This field trip is not substituting for our monthly luncheon at River Hills Club, so plan to attend that on March 14th also. If you know of any other good touring/field trip opportunities in the tri-county area, please email secretary@ms.assp.org
